Edinburgh - Dumfries - Galloway
This was the trip we took with photography society this weekend to take some photos of star trails. We started off by taking the train from Edinburgh to Dumfries 9am Saturday morning, arrived in Dumfries 3h later and then took another bus towards Galloway which took about 1,5h. We got there and it started raining a lot! We put up our tents and went to a food fair to get some free food and get full for the day, amazing burgers, meet, fish, cakes, honey etc :). After the food we ran back to our tents to warm up and stay away from the rain, this meant laying in our sleeping bag 4.55 pm, an unusual feeling but it was freezing! Some fell asleep (hrrm..) and some played cards etc. We waited for the sky to clear up and it finally did, at midnight when it was about -3 degrees...! The day after we were all freezing, tired and wet. We went to the bus which took us back to Dumfries where we had to wait for 2,5h. Coffee was consumed and I took some photos of this small town in the south west of Scotland where my friend Andrew comes from. 4.20 pm we were on the bus back to Edinburgh and it took another 3h to get back. The photography trip wasn't successful but we were a great crew that went there and I got to see some new parts of Scotland that was pretty interesting and enjoyable :)

Btw, while the game of the year was played (Liverpool-Chelsea) I sat on a bus going back... And for ones this season Liverpool actually played good and WON!!
