A lot have happened since the last time I wrote, architecture football team, more model building, architects night out, home made Fisk haha etc.
The architecture football team had its first practise last Sunday and it was a lot of fun. As I wrote in my last post, I am the one who started this team and it is going even better than I thought, we are 23 in the team out of about 40 guys which is pretty good.
The last weeks project was canopy and I built a small outside room which had its roof connected to wires and you could therefore lift the rood just by pulling the wires. It looked so bad bud it served its purpose... This week we are suppose to build a model that represents space so I will do an underground, floating hangout place which you can look in to from the side, I'll show a picture when I am done :)
Yesterday I organized a architects night out which was very successful. We started off with about 25 people at a pub, then went to a flat party witch 15 of them and in the end we were 10 who went to a night club called the Hive which was really good! I brought my home made Fisk (vodka+fishermans friends), it was appreciated and we finished 1 litre in an hour. Home by 4 and up 9 to go to a workshop induction. When I arrived there I saw a note on the door telling he was away today.... 30 minutes walk and 5 hours of sleep for nothing, one guy took the train from Glasgow just to have the induction, I thought he would hit someone when he saw the note.
Oh btw, I won photo of the week in photography society with a picture that is pretty dull haha, http://www.flickr.com/photos/54795538@N02/5078404018/
Motivation: This week's winner is this photo from Oscar Selemba, taken during the PhotoSoc trip to the Botanic Gardens last Saturday. I love the vibrancy of the colours, and the reflected light from the ducks feathers on its head.
Now I have to do some sketchup for my model and edit some photos we took of our other model in art & design.
